ISO 45001 Readiness Checklist

What certification involves

A Stage 1 audit checks your system is documented and ready. A Stage 2 audit checks it works in practice. Certification bodies usually want to see the system running for a period, with an internal audit and management review completed. Read more in What Happens During an ISO Certification Audit?

Already have SSIP or CHAS?

Much of your existing health and safety evidence can form the basis of an ISO 45001 system, but the standard asks for more, especially around context, worker participation, objectives, internal audit and management review.
