What's Included and What's Extra

Your subscription covers advice: answering questions, giving guidance and helping you decide what to do next. Advice is subject to fair use appropriate to your package. If sustained or unusually complex enquiries exceed reasonable advisory use, we will discuss an alternative scope or quotation with you before undertaking additional chargeable work.

Substantial work, such as creating a full set of risk assessments, preparing new policies, reviewing documents beyond your allowance, extra site visits or ISO implementation, is quoted separately before it starts.

Professional package allowances

The four scheduled quarterly reviews replace, rather than supplement, Essential's one annual review. The five-document review allowance and three hours of minor amendments apply per contract year.

Unused amendment hours do not carry forward. Amendments must be agreed in advance; substantial rewrites and specialist documents are separately quoted.

Important to know

Morgan Safety Support is an advisory service, not an emergency response service. Do not delay immediate safety measures or statutory reporting while awaiting advice.

Adviser absence and continuity arrangements are defined in your written service agreement. Response targets apply subject to those arrangements.

Common Questions

Does my business need a competent health and safety person?

UK employers must appoint one or more competent persons to help them meet their health and safety duties. In many smaller businesses this can be someone internal with suitable knowledge and experience. Where appropriate, external support can provide that help. Morgan may act as an appointed external competent person where the appointment and its scope are expressly agreed in writing. Your organisation retains its legal health and safety responsibilities.

How long is the agreement?

Packages have a 12-month minimum term and then continue month to month. You can give one month’s written notice before the initial term ends, so the agreement can end at the 12-month point. After that, one month’s written notice applies. Full terms are confirmed in the service agreement.

What if we have an accident at work?

Take immediate action to protect people and contact emergency services where required. Contact Morgan during business hours for guidance on investigations, next steps and possible RIDDOR reporting. Do not delay immediate safety measures or any required statutory notification while awaiting our response.

Can you write our risk assessments and policies?

Yes. Reviewing and advising is included within your package’s stated allowances. Preparing new documents or substantial rewrites is separately scoped and quoted before work begins.

Do you work outside Lincolnshire?

Yes. Remote advice is available across the UK. Site visits are available locally and regionally, and further afield by arrangement.

Which businesses do you support?

Construction contractors, manufacturers, warehousing and distribution, engineering, transport and logistics, facilities and maintenance contractors, and growing service-sector businesses. Specialist activities outside our competence are declined or supported by suitably qualified specialists with your agreement.
